I got a new powerline 880 and it shot so well I thought I would fix it up a little. First, the stock was sized for someone a lot shorter than me so I fabricated a but spacer out of a piece of scrap oak lumber I had in my basement. I painted it red because that's the color I found on my work bench.  Next, there was the matter of the scope.  The scope that comes with these rifles is useless.  Certainly, it shot well enough for a real scope, so I got a 4X16 BSA mill dot scope that I think looks cool.  It shoots into 1 ragged hole at 15 yards.  The icing on the cake is the brake.  I made it out of a 6 inch piece of electrical conduit and some wooden plugs that I turned on my shop smith.  The hard part was making sure the hole in the end of the brake was centered on the bore.  After thinking about how to do this, I put a small led light in the breech and visually lined up the hole around the bore. I used silicone adhesive/sealant to glue it on.  I was somewhat amazed that it works perfectly.  The pellets don't touch the hole on the way out   The brake is hollow, but it still cuts down on the sound a lot - it really makes a difference.  This stuff is fun!

Excellent job.  Is the electrical conduit metal?.....I don't know that term.....

Electrical conduit can be metal or plastic.  This stuff is steel - inespensive and easyl to find at Lowes or similar stores.  It is much thinner walled and lighter than water or gas pipe.  It is pretty tough, not soft at all.  I cut it with a hack saw and squared up on my disk sander.
