I bumped into this link looking completely for something else. It seems to have some good basic/starter info and video for new/newer airgunners so they can see some of the principles at work. Wish I'd found this 2 years ago...

See the demos about 1/4 down the page...

Thanks for finding that link! It is indeed informative especially the one about the AA TX 200 power plant. I have heard a lot about the various components of the rifles from people who tune them but  I've always been curious about the precise interactions involved in the cocking and firing of the guns.  So far I never have had the intestinal fortitude to tear one apart to see for myself. One question - are all air gun power plants basically like the one in the TX 200? Again Thanks!  Terry

Yes, and it's also been in the GTA library for a long time under technical demos. Been there  since we first started the forum I believe. It's an excellent educational demo site and very interesting. Touchs on a lot of things.

I remember finding that in the library!  I learned more from that link and saved myself (and responders) so many questions..  It was a major 2 leaps forward in my education :)

Those demos  have been around for quite a while. They were developed by Perry Babin and Steve Woodward back in 2001. Perry has had this page up since late 2001 or early 2002.

Just thought some people would benefit from them. I hadn't seen them before myself.

Hey Rich.... I'm glad that you brought it to light as many people were unaware of it's existance, especially the newer members.
