first of all i would like to make note this is my first pcp rifle and will probably be my LAST!....i got timmy's discovery for my 10 year old granddaughter to learn how to shoot with.  i didn't think she could handle any of my magnum springers.  timmy gave me the gun full of air so i could zero a scope on it and it shoots well.  i ordered one of those "benjamin bicycle pumps" to pump it up with.  i connect the pump to the gun and after about 4 pumps (approx. 500psi per the guage) the pump has a severe "vacuum" on it and you cannot pull the handle up or push down.....it just stops!!...i don't know anything about these damn things and i am really getting aggrevated with it....does anyone have any suggestions?....is the pump bad?....what's going on?....thanx in advance!..........." I KNEW I DIDN'T WANT A PCP! " ....!

i do have a tendacy to turn Pyrotechnic when ticked-off.......timmy knows i like things that go BOOM!!!...have you ever seen compressed air expand at 600 degrees?...ha!

I know this is gonna sound stupid  but,,,,,,,,,,,  open the air bleed valve and empty the pump,, once done tighten the bleed valve again.   Now here comes the "stupid"  part  :)   ,,,,,  rotate the pump handle several times clockwise......... now give it another try.....

I'LL BE DAMNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....THAT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!.....what the hell?....THANKS JEFF!!!....now i look like a damn kangaroo jumping around on a football!!!...ha!...i already had the acetone and amonia-nitrate ready for some fireworks!!!...you just saved timmy's gorgeous stock from going up in flames!!!!....THANKS AGAIN!!!....my granddaughter thanks you too!!!

Well,,,, we couldn't have him standing there with that beautiful rifle and not be able shoot the darn thing  now could we ??   :)

Sometimes that little trick works and sometimes it don't....... glad it worked this time  :)

I've got to remember this trick.  I pump up my PCP's as well.....so far it haven't happened with my Hill pump.

Bhawanna could always send the Disco to me before blowing it up heh heh.  I'll pay for the shipping......
