: custom sear

Hi guys, I'm considering ordering a custom 2 stage adjustable sear from Airguns of Arizona for my Disco. Has anyone tried this sear, and does it perform well?

I read somewhere today that it brings the trigger down to an honest 2.2 to 2.0 lbs.
I'm curious if this works also.

guys i cant comment on the 'custom sear", my disco ( modded by mac-1 and the previous owner ) has a TKO drop in trigger. its light,.........far lighter than the trigger in my MM tuned b26.
without real testing, id say this one definitely breaks at sub 3# pressure, likely in the 2# range.   its great punching paper, but frankly may be a little to light for hunting.
grins..........on the other hand, lol,...i reaaaaaaaally like it !

I guess the best way to find out is buy one and try it! It's a little pricey though but probably worth the effort.

I see there's a three screw mod by TKO. After I try that I'll see if buying the sear is necessary.

Thanks for the info

Gopher, if you try the TKO set up, let me know how it works for you. Maybe I'll try one myself.

I believe Mike at TKO also has a "drop in" trigger group ..... you send him your entire trigger group and he sends you the drop in replacement back,,, I guess of course there's also a fee but I don't know what it is......

I will probably do it tomorrow since I have all the parts laying around from being a basic pack rat.

It looks very simple. Hardest part seems to be disassembly, and I just downloaded how to do that.

Otherwise, I'd send it in for the swap because his price is really reasonable. I also just ordered the 6.5" TKO brake.

I made my own that works great, but it looks really tacky, but at least I know I can do it.

I'll try the trigger out this weekend and report back in a new thread.
