I recently got a B26 (non thumbhole) and it's great. build quality is excellent etc.
Only thing is the trigger on my b25s is way better feeling.
I can't really feel the first stage on the B26. does anyone know if it's possible
to get the B26 trigger to feel more like the B25?

start by shooting it. the surfaces of the sear must still be gritty and unclean. or take it apart and polish them. mine smoothed out after about 1000 shots. then play with the adjustment screw to give you a different pull for the 2nd stage. mine is great; it breaks crisply and at 3 oz.

I still don't get why everyone wants a 2 stage trigger. 2 stage triggers were designed for military rifles to be shot by peasants, to prevent ADs. I've never seen a good powder burner trigger that was 2 stage.
The Rekord trigger on my R9 is almost a thought trigger.

I have been curious how to adjust it..., but kinda nervous to screw it up.

just screw it in or out til you find a setting that you like.... you really can't...screw it up....no pun intended.

The reason you can't find the first stage is because it's only asingle stage trigger.
People bend the front trigger stop tab forward to give some play to simulate having a second stage.
Adding the take-up slop that we try to remove from real two stage triggers.
The 25 is a two stage trigger. Which can be adjusted quite smoothly if I say so myself... :)

if my 26 is a single stage, what is that smooth transition that stops when the "2nd stage" engages, right before it breaks??? and a 25 is a clone of the 34... which i could have sworn that it had a single stage... am i wrong in both counts...

Before everybody clobbers me; I mis-spoke. What I was meaning to say was that the second stage is not separately adjustable, and
because it's a close copy of the Rekord Trigger, the geometry is not perfect. Give me a minute and let me think about what I really wanted to say...
I was talking to myself and trying to figure out a way to say what I meant without writing a book and unfortunately that's what come out.

took a look at that article, and according to it on the b26 you just have to bend the trigger stop out,but it does not say how much to bend it.
I would hate to monkey with that hand have it break off and mess up the trigger.

You only have to bend it a little. You can put a small flat tip screwdriver in there and just give it a nudge.
I would say the tip only needs to move 1/8".
Here's another article on how to adjust the trigger. It's the actual Rekord, but the principle is the same.
