I am thinking about getting one of these.
http://www.qbmags.com/
Do they work good?
Are they hard to install?
Not real keen on having to modify my bolt to get it to work properly.
It does look good on their website.
Anybody here got any "personal" experience with these?
Thanks Ray

hey ray, my .22 disco is equipped with the RIM mag. it was set-up that way by the previous owner.
nice to have multi-shot capability, especially with three or four preloaded magazines.
my only dislikes are :
"thumb-indexing" requirement. fat fingers or gloves pretty are pretty much ruled out for use.
domed or wadcutter style pelletrs are great, the predator style pellets are too long to use.
mandatory use of high mounts to clear the magazine and indexing unit.
those issues aside, its a great addition.

wonder how Crosman premiere hollow points in .177 would work?
I'm thinking about putting one on my .177 disco.
Thanks Ray

ray, the crosmans will work fine.
the point i made regarding the predators is based on pellet length, preds are to long to fit the magazine correctly. ive been using crosman premiers in mine w/o any issues...................

Ray I bought one a few months back, but I went on vacation the day after it came in and cant remember where I put it, old age hits again.
But I do have one on my QB so I know just how they would work on the Disco. Like Triry said, they work great, only draw back is its not autoindexing like some other guns . it take some geting use to, but having eight shots rather than loading one at a time, the self indexing gets easier the more you shoot.
Pellets , most will work, but I like shooting preditors out of my Disco, more accurate for pest control, so that is just a small setback. Now my QB likes RWS super points and they do index good out of them.
Buy the bolt when you get the RIM, IIRC only 10 extra, it makes loading easier.
