I am looking at the FX Monsoon and FX Revolution. Main requirement(after their quality) is the semi auto performance.
Will be used for nailing blackbird flocks on sunflower fields at my cousins place in North Dakota. Flocks in the hundreds to the thousands decimage the crops. The semi-auto will allow more shots before the birds realize what is happening. Currently he is spending a few thousand dollars on shotgun shells, propane powere 'boomers' and supplying the neighbor kids with .22, .177HMR and shotgun shells as they go out and shoot the birds. During migration he gets a permit to take 80 geese. Has to leave them lay as they are shot as pests, not game.
Having the semi auto system with extr magazines looks like a good solution coupled with a few extra air tanks of the 4500 pound variety. I don't know if he can get them filled easily but he might end up getting a compressor to do it with depending on the cost. Almost anything costs less than case after case of ammo and propane boomers.
Are there any other good quality, really accurate semi-automatic Pellet Rifles to choose from? Am not averse to saving a few dollars as long as accuracy and quality are high. Want rifles that will last in hard use.

There are also AR's....maybe Sumantras (sp)....I think they're underlevers....real heavy hitters, maybe overkill for blackbirds and geese. They're loud too.
Too bad about the pest thing....other than that, that looks like great hunting grounds for rimfire and pellet guns.
