I turned off the autofocus of my Nikon D70, placed a reversing ring on the body and a very old f2.0 50mm Nikkor. Focused apperture wide open, after that closed it to the smallest apperture (image turns all black), shutter speed 2 seconds which gave me the time to use a handheld flash manualy. The results are not perfect since the depth of field is extremely limited and it's a fussy job to do without propper studio equipment. Since the lens has been mounted reversed there's no deformation.

Here's one where I didn't use the flash but a lighter instead.

The lens has got a few dust particles insid, that's the only thing that has been Photoshopped.

(besides cropping and resizing).

Thanks Bogey, at the moment this was the next best thing besides shooting them, shooting is a bit tricky now because of the pills I'm taking, should have my focus back after the weekend I hope.
