I don't know about everyone, but my first project was buying the GREAT GRT-III trigger. It did make ALL the difference in the world for ME !
Up until that point, there wasn't much that you could do except get your baby rebuilt, or add the GTR-III trigger, if you were lucky enough to have an Air Rifle it would fit :p
NOW, there is BLING all over the web !!!!! Brass this, chrome that, and even Crosman has custom grips and upgraded parts to soup up you air guns ! And that's not mentioning the custom stocks :emoticon:
So share your story with us ALL, what have you done to your baby, and what do you plan to do to her in the near future ????
I just ordered $119.54 in add on parts for my Crosman 2300 and 1377, that Kerby is such a BAD Influence on me !!!! :emoticon: and that's not all the real good BLING either, I'm sure there will be more to come, the modifications available are almost endless, BLING spelled $$$$$ :o And I haven't even decided on what type of sight I want to put on her yet ???
And you know that this is cutting into my air gun money for my HW-50S :0 But what's a man to do :o
So let us know what your up to !

Wellllll..
I've only got one gun, a B28A in .22. I sent it off to to Gene by way of Timmy for a chopping, Turbo Tune, and brake. Honestly that doesn't leave me much "modding" desire left over, but I can't help but think about the stock. After a reexamination of my financial situation, buying a new one is pretty much out of the question and will be for awhile, so that more or less limits it to what I can do by myself, and that means a dangerous first-attempt at refinishing a gunstock(http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif)
Problem is, while I think it does look a bit "plain," I can't think of anything that would look enough better to motivate myself to actually change it! The gun will probably see use out in the snow and that makes me want to bedliner it, but bedliner-ing a stock seems just an awful thing to do to a perfectly good piece of wood. I've also always like the look of darker cherry type stains (think TF89), but I just can't "see" my B28 with that look. Aside from that nothing much strikes my fancy. And it's not as enough it's bad looking; I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the box and saw that stock for the first time!
Oh well, less desire to mod means more time and money to spend on other things..

I am waiting on my new .22 TF89 to come back from Gene that was treated to a new Turbo Tune, triggerjob and muzzle brake, but the next think I want done is a laminated tatical thumbhole stock with the brass bushings where the screw that mount the action to the gun, and then a barrel shroud. And finally a Hawke Side adjusting scope to go on it, I'm not sure which model yet.And I have a Gamo delta recon that is wrapped up for my son for Christmas that I'm going to put the GTRIII trigger in for him and maybe a tune to smooth it out for him.

About the only thing I'm thinking about at the moment is some possible stock mods on my Pneuma and Renegade, both have ambi stocks that I think would look/feel better with a little reshaping, possibly make them dedicated right handers. IF I do this, I'm much more likely to just do the Pneuma, since the action is right handed no matter what you do to the stock. The Renegade, on the other hand, is truly ambidextrous, and it would be a shame to rule out lefty use.
I also think the Pneuma would benefit from a strip and refinish. I really like the color of the existing stain, but something about the current stain/finish looks muddy to me. There's some pretty nice figure there, I think I could make it pop more with a different finish. To a lesser extent the same thing applies to the Renegade.
Other than that, I'd like a couple of Rowan Engineering parts for my S200, and maybe a custom muzzle brake for the Renegade. Gee, I guess I have more on my mind than I realized :-). Later.

I plan on putting the finishing touches on my Disco.
Full length shroud to go with the RJMacine riser breech.
Find me someone who can make a custom barrel band...any good machinists' here?
This is what the Disco looks like right now. Works good as is, but not finished yet.

I generally like to add aftermarket pieces that not only look good, they also serve a purpose towards performance. My S200 has all of the bells and whistles that can be added to it, and it looks great, but every piece has a reason. I love custom stocks on my guns, but I've found that many factory stocks are a compromise geared toward the "average" shooter, which I'm not. A good custom stock is setup to fit "me", not the average 5'10" 170lbs human and it makes a huge difference in my shooting comfort, and if you're comfortable and not all bunched up your shooting will improve. I like shiney stuff too:)

Big Bill, I recently done a little discretionary spending for a couple of Do it Yourself stocks for one of my R-9's and my UK Webley Patriot. I think I got a pretty good piece of wood for the R-9. I'll show it off when I get finished.

You will have to ask Timmy. Something special, I imagine, starting w/ a BSA Scorpion carbine.
