last year there was a vicious rumor that gamo was going to come out with the Gamo Hunter Extreme
in .22 cal AND .25 cal they did come out w/the .22 but where's the .25?
-
.22 in indeed a reality and I've heard that the .25 can be had in Europe.....

Gamo had a .25 cal on display at the 2009 Shot Show. That may have been the one and only ever to come to the States thus far. Maybe none of the big box retailers want to import them for fear of lack of sales. If they ever bring them in, I will look hard at one.

I am waiting for it still...

Hmmm a .25 Extreme. :o :) Ed

A .25 would indeed pack a punch :)

More so then say a .22 LR? I'm just thinking, If the game I'm hunting is so big that I need a .25 magnum air rifle to hunt it, shouldn't I probably be using a powder burner anyways? What do you think guys?

You could but..........there's something about hunting with a airgun isn't there hehehe. When you tell folk's that you dropped it with a airgun they looked amazed, some still haven't realized how for airguns have come. Ed
-
or get a pcp but who has that kind of money i will wait for others to take one for the team on a springer .25 before i consider one.
-
I spoke with a salesman at our local hunting store and they have a pretty good selection of airguns, he milk's me for info on the good shooter's hehe. He also mentioned that their getting in the .25 cal Extreme, guess I'll be up there holding her and drooling all over the place when they arrive lol. Ed

im sure they would pack a punch, but im sure it will eat scopes left and right with that much power!
-
Someone already may have mentioned it but I just found out today that the B28 will be out in Jan 2010 in .25 cal. Talked to Mike M and he will be getting them in. Got my name on the list. Beats the Gamo in Price and tuneability. Keep on the look out.

I'm eyeing that .25 cal B-28 as well,,,, seems like it might be worth the investment :)

John I have 1 of the first Fusions in .22 that came into the US. I love the gun but afraid the power plant won't be sufficient enough for the .25 cal. My .22 shoots mid 700's with 14.3 gr so my guess would be low 600 high 500's with mid weight pellets. The 28's powerplant is much larger than the 400's and they're saying 720 fps in .25. I'm interested to see how the both perform.
