Not really air gunning...But that its main intended use...
Desided I needed a mill....thought it would be a fun little
project to build one...
travel...X 200 / Y 100 / Z 135
The mill head has a MT2 tapper & will rotate for angle milling.
made the berreing head years ago for a linisher..
the berring housing will be cut of the mount & welded to
a 40mm solid shaft with the motor on the other end then rotate though
a clamp on the top of the collum..head and motor will rotate as a unit..

Nice! Are you going to somehow mount the head for adjustable tram angle or just keep it fixed at 90 degrees?

Kiwi, got motor?
here is my sad story!
I ordered a Drill press from Toolsnow.com $57.00+ shipping , came buy UPS as they rolled it to my door & ran ! I got it open and the motor was bent at the fan housing, so I called them & they sent a call tag & would send a motor right out ! then Harbor FT had sent me a e-m for a dril press on sale, $39.00.So I called Toolsnow told them that I did not want a motor & too just give me my $$ back.
In a few days a 12lbs Motor comes by UPS?
I called Toolsnow back She was nice & said I would not be charged for the motor! They did charge me shipping cost $$ & I have a Motor for a Drill press that I don't have !
& don't need! I don't have any metal working so can't use it
It's a 1650RPM,3.0AMP,120VOLT,1/2" shaft.
Need motor ?
PM me if you would like, Ron

I think you might find the shipping charges just a little bit expensive! (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif) He isn't calling himself "Kiwi" for nothing.

A few probs.....our power system is either 230volt single phase @ 50Hz
or 400volt 3 phase..
And I live on the other side of the planet.....
I have a motor 750wats almost new...Got a metal cutting band saw a while back
It just won't cut straight..."No good to me"....So the motor/ pulley stacks/ vice handle
have found a new home on a mill....
thanx for the offer anyways...
