The finish on my Disco stock is thin and the wood feels course. Without stripping and redoing it, is there anything I can put on my stock to give it a deeper shine and smooth it out?  Thanks!  Terry

I rubbed in a couple coats of Scotts Liquid Gold on mine. It darkened the wood,  brought out some of grain and made it a little smoother. It's still not as smooth as I would like but it looks pretty good now. When I got mine new it was very dry looking and rough feeling but the Scotts helped, quick and easy.
