it too is a clone of the Gamo Hunter series and made in China. The blueing and finish apperar to be better on the Summit and the stock had a decent medium deep dark color. The finish was a gloss finish that seemed to be a very hard finish like a baked enamal.

The trigger was very heavy, almost 9 lbs and a little rough. Cockng was about normal with the usual rubbing of the cocking shoe against the spring but not as bad as some. When shooting, it had the usual twang and vibrations expected from the B/19 and Gamo's...about normal.

The innards were identical to the B-19 with the exception of a lighter tophat. I TurboTuned it using a Tarantula spring and installed a GTX trigger and it turned it into a totally different gun as you would expect. Here are a couple of numbers from the data.

nice job on the summit bob.
Now if I can get my b26 to do 900+ fps. I will be very happy

couple of weeks ago and got a 913 average out of it. I used a 94-Cometa spring in it with a fitted Delrin guide along with the other things I do so it is feasible. In fact, depending on the gun and spring used you can probably do a little better than that but you will probably start losing performance.

why did I say 900, I wanted to say over 700. I have a 22 caliber. thank you for the info..

One other thing, Would it help or hurt if I pre-load t he spring some. I was thinking about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of pre-load.
: Wallis... I don't think you can push it that much with a Cometa spring but I could be wrong.
