Well, after 26 years serving our country in the Air Force I am finally retiring. I am now on terminal leave and will have my official ceremony in two weeks. Its been a long career but I am looking forward to starting a new one as a civilian!
So on this holiday I would like to give thanks to my fellow Airmen and military personnel all over the world who are keeping peace and democracy alive for all of us.

Kevin,
Congrats my fellow airman. I retired at McConnell after 20. Now I'mworking toward a real retirement. :)
Transition was easy for me but I do miss the service and the great folks I had the pleasure to meet and work with. I miss the daily respects we paid to our flag and country.
Good luck as you move forward. Happy Thanksgiving and GOD Bless.
Thanks for your dedicated service to all of us!!!!
Aim High & Happy Shooting!!!!

Congrats!!!!
Well done.. Especially to your wife... Mine has been a very patient lady..Survived a tour on the Drill Field, back to the fleet, then a tour on Recruiting Duty... They are a special breed all their own, and rarely get the credit they deserve...
So our thanks to both of you...

I was at Minot once when we got our F15's from the 5th FIS. Too Cold for me but a nice place.
-
Thank You for your service to our country and enjoy your retirement.I only have 15 years to go.lol.
-
Yes, it is way too cold here in the winter. Most people who get an assignment here try to get out of it.
And the worst part, you don't get that many good days to go shooting. Either its too cold or the wind is blowing too much.
-
Thanks everyone for the responses.
I have enjoyed my time serving our country and look forward to having a job where they don't send the cops to get ya if you don't show up for work!
-
Glad you finally made retirement and now you can join the ranks with some of us also retired old farts. Thank you for the long service to this wonderful country and now you may shoot your air guns to your hearts content. Have fun.
-
Congratulations on your retirement:) Thank you for your service. Tony.

If I were still in the Navy, well, um, I guess I would be in the old Soldiers and Sailors home over in DC! Besides, who can last that long in subs? Thanks for all of your dedication and service, from one old Cold War veteran to another! (Polaris subs)
