Guy had a gun on Craigslist for $70, listed as an underlever, pop up breach and 875 fps. Talked to him on the phone and he said he would even go $40. On my way there I'm thinking "HW57?", "Gamo CF20/30/Stutzen?", "Diana 46?" Nope. Looked like an Industry Brand in .22. Well, it shot ok and he had stripped and half-way restained it, so I gave him $25. Does seem to "shoot hard" - about 1/2" into a phone book with Crosman Pointeds. Know now that I paid a little too much but no Cummings trucks around here. This must be an early gun as it has no cheek piece or buttpad. Anyway, not quite as crude as I imagined. Seems to prefer Daisy wadcutters over the Crosmans, and a good thing, too. They is cheaper. Must be the Chinese connection there. Anyway, will look at the tips on these. First off, any quick fixes for the heavy trigger? And do these have anti-bear traps? (I have older springers without, so I always use a strict loading protocol.)

sounds like a Industry B-3-1, take a look at south summits web site...
-
most likely a B 3-1 Cummins....don't let the sound and feel fool you...
-
Meant to say it does look like the B-3-1. I always thought these were a bit flimsy but it's actually pretty solid. Basic but will get the job done.

Just wondering :)

H3LL NO! Where he got that from I have no idea. He didn't even know what it was.
-
Yeah, had me wondering about that, after identifying it as a B3-1 :)
-
The early Hatsan underlevers had a pop up/swing up breach
it hindged at the front....think it was the mod 100..???
