In a very unscientific measurment of loudness.without one being a 10 what would you say with one is..

and can you reattach the front sight to it?

thanks in advance

just LOVIN my newly acquired .22!!

you talking about muzzle brake?  With my Discovery I can glue the front sight back on.  Mine seem quieter a little.  Still too loud for backyard shooting for me.

For its size, was rather impressive in the reduction... call it a 5 or 6 on a 10 scale.   Works best on a .22 (as mentioned on his site) and needs to be carefully aligned.

Backyards pretty well suck for noise...too many vertical surfaces (house walls, wooden fences, etc.) to reflect noise.  Guns that sound so dead-quiet out on the range or in the woods turn out to be a lot louder in a hard-surface enviroment.

Without the TKO on my .177 Disco there's no way I can shoot it in my backyard, just to darn loud.  With the TKO I can shoot all day and my neighbors don't even know I'm shooting  :)

As far as the 1 - 10 scale....... I'd say it would be a 3   :)

seems to be a variation in peoples opinion here as to how much dampening of the report it does...

ofcourse thats why it is an unscientific question!...

so thanks for the replies guys...

TKO makes different length muzzel breaks. The 6.5 that I purchased dampens the report to point that is unbeliveable. I almost thought there was something wrong with the disco when I first shot it after installation. What was about a 10 sound level, it's now about a 2 or 3. Very backyard friendly.

it depends on the size, the longer the muzlebrake, the quieter the gun would be, i never tried one on a disco but i have used htem on my 1322, and my jack haley 20 cal pcp. on my 1322 when you shoot it is wuieter then openeing a can of soda, on my haley, its very backyard friendly, i find that the 6.5 inch is the best all around brake

How much does the 6.5 inch TKO cost?
