Is there any way to tell how old an RWS 48 is?  I'd like to know.

Good day;
As I recall, stamped on the receiver on one side of the scope mount or the other, is a four digit code like XX XX.
The first is the month.  The other is the year. (or visa versa).
Look hard.  They are small.
