: The Difference Between Tukish Made Webley/Scott and UK Built
: Gene_SC December 06, 2009, 06:33:16 AM

While tuning my newest addition a beautiful Webley/Scott Tomawk .177 I took some pictures to compare the triggers that are in the UK built ones and the Turkish ones.

NO Comparison at all. If anyone wants a Webley/Scott buy a good used UK built one. You will not go wrong...:)

The first picture is a genuine UK Webley/Scott made trigger that they used in there air guns. The second pictures are of the Turkish made triggers. YIKESSSSSSSS!!

Gene,  could you also show the internals of the UK models against or along side of the Turkish types????  Just for comparison.  A compare and contrast lesson.

Sorry Mike but I did not tear into the trigger. It was so sweet that I did not need to do any work on her. Here is a drawing of the parts.

I can tell you this that it is a completely different design than the Turkish one and mounts and sear engagement is way different.

from what i have read there is no hope for the turkish welbys. my friends up in middle town and sullivain county r so *_*_*_*_*_*ed that they have them in closets collecting dust they wanted to give me one but i declined the trigger is about 6 lbs or so and the shooting cycle is very rough ,accuratecy suck if gene wont tune one who will i rather get a sling shot and will have better results....jorge
