For slow shipments recently.......
As many here know, I have been trying to change jobs.
Things have not panned out as they should. The new place I went
to is not doing anything they promised, so I was left with no choice but to leave.
As I was going in to talk to them about what was going on, they just told me to go home.
No big deal, it was their loss. After 20 years, I am not a "Jeep" ,(Junior Enlisted Expendable Personnel),I am a professional. I spent a little time on the phones and was back to work again in less than 48 hours.
I did go back to my old company. Thank the Lord they were more than happy to have me back.
I had other things in the works but they kinda really pressed me to come back. I will have to say
they are trying hard to take care of me. The owner put me right back where I was when I left with zero penalties.All my PTO and vacation time was reinstated and no loss of seniority.
I was also able to work out some special arrangements about my scheduling needs. Some positive
changes also came about by my departure that will benefit many in the company. No, I am nothing.
I can be replaced and the world will keep turning without me. For some reason, everything had to
happen the way it did for the betterment of others and myself in the company.
Now that all of this ordeal is behind me, I have time to breath again and tend to other important matters. One of those matters involves my GTA family. I have been very negligent in shipping out some items forsome of my family here and I owe you my apologizes. Everything I promised was shipped out today. All items should be delivered by Thursday of this week. Fatback, I thought I was joking when I said, "I would have it to you before the end of the year". I had no Idea things were going to go the way they did for me.
Well any way, I may have been a little slow but I do keep my word.
Don't give up on me, I'll do what I say.
Would it help if I put on the collar of shame?

It happens to some of us now and then brother, life get's us running every direction hehe. I have had a few slow shipment's sent out too, darn three legged pack mule of mine lol. I was really happy after we chewed the fat on the phone to hear that you got the work thing going again, always great to hear from you bro. God Bless you Paul and we'll keep moving forward. :) Ed

Paul, I never doubted you for a second + you were giving me the stuff for free anyway...lol You're a great guy with a heart of gold. I am just glad everything worked out for you with your Job...
