Well I need your expertise I just received my Leapers Scope and it says it has a vertical stop pin will I have to drill the gun for the stop pin it is on a B26?
I am new to the Springer world a old man with new idea's.
Thanks.

norm.....
the scope itself will not have a stop pin.........its the mount(s) that will have this feature. iirc, most of the b26's already have the reciever dilled for a stop pin.

Which leaper scope and mount did you get? With the B-26 and if you have leapers single mount, you will not need a scope stop. I have 2 ring mount on my B-26 and not using scope stop and it has no creep. O mark my scope tube front & rear of ring mount along with the action mount to monitor if it's slipping. So far so good, no movement after 1K+ shots. This provides good info on mounting scope on springer >> http://www.pyramydair.com/site/articles/scopes-part2/

With that mount you're good to go. No need for pin stop if you degrease your mount clamp and the grooves on your dove tail. I never loctite my mount screws and had no problems on slippage.
