At this moment.... we have in Puerto Rico a very rainy week.
I have no opportunity to increase the Marauder psi filll up to 3000 psi to chrony it.
I want to know:::: if anyone have increased the air pressure of the Marauder to 3000 psi, already????
I am concerned if the accuracy have not suffer for long distance shots.
Because I had today just 20 minutes without rain and I just did a very fast and close scope zero alignament at 15 yrs
with the my new centerpoint power class 8-32 x 56mm scope. Then I shoot to a target at 63 yrs without change anything in the scope
and I was hitting just 1 3/4 inch low a 4 inch x 2 inch target at 50 feet high with 2000 psi left at that moment (Marauder .177 and CP 10.5g.) T
The light condition were low and I can see the target very close and I can see very clear the hits throught the scope.
I am planning to use the marauder for more extreme distances as I wrote before just for fun and practice some sniping.
With just 2000 psi at this time I was hitting that small target... Now I know I can go over maybe 200 yrds with 3000 psi.
Because I saw a video of a guy shooting a AA 410 .22 over 200 YARDS breaking bottles and the aa 410 has less fps than the marauder,
SO I THINK I CAN GO.... IF THE RAIN FINISH!!!
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP IN ADVANCE.

Some velocity may help at 200 yards, but you probably won't increase your muzzle velocity more than 100 fps. The improvement to your trajectory and fpe wouldn't be that noticable. 200-500 fps in a firearm is notifcable. Sounds like your Mrod is very shooting very good. Chrono to see how fast you a push your pellet to stay accurate and still be sub sonic. Then download a ballistic chart with your settings. Long range shooting is very dependant on consistant accuracy, range compensation (bullet drop), and wind allowance (drift). Please let us know your results. Good luck
