Hope y'all don't mind me showing off a little and I hope I can inspire others to give it a try too. It's looking at other peoples stuff that inspired me. I just ordered my reman 1377c on 10-23-09, prior to that I had never modded an airgun. Now I'm completely hooked!
This round of mods started off by giving the barrel an 11 degree crown and re-blue with the cold bluing stuff Brownells sells. Next, I opened up the transfer port and counterbored it to use a piece of poly hose to seal the transfer port. Then I polished the tapered area where the pellets are loaded into the barrel. Next I made a brass breech with an aluminum scope rail and a stainless bolt with extended probe. Topped it off with an older Ultra Dot red dot scope I had. Now I need some nice grips and pump arm to set it off. Here are some pics, tell me what y'all think.

Very nice work!

Very nice, indeed. What did you use to crown the barrel? Lathe and crowning tool bit? Custom, one-off reamer, etc?
What did you use to polish the breech end of the barrel? I need to do that to a few of mine.
Thanks in advance.

Very nice work:) the polished breech is a nice touch should prevent that occasional catch pellet.. I would like to know how you did that, looks great. Tony

I cut the crown in a lathe. I just set the compound on 11* and used a carbide lathe tool to face it off. Then I used a center drill to put a small 60* chamfer on the ID. To polish the breech end, I just used some fine sandpaper wrapped around a .125 dowel pin while the barrel was spinning in the lathe. It polished up real nice then I put some cold bluing on it.

Actually, I have been shooting in the 5M open and the 10M multi pump. I missed last week because I had my 1377 apart to get the final measurements for my breech. I'm really itching to get out and shoot but its looking like this week will be a no go 'cause the weather here is supposed to be lousy all weekend.

nice. gotta love those 1377s

Finally got some trigger time with the 1377 today. I decided I don't like the scope rail on my breech, it makes it a PITA to get pellets loaded. I removed the rail and remounted the scope with a set of intermounts I made a few weeks back. I like this set-up much better.
