Australia intends to introduce filters which will ban access to websites containing criminal content.
The banned sites will be selected by an independent classification body guided by complaints from the public, said Communications Minister Stephen Conroy.

Holy moly,  dangerous indeed, sounds like book burning!!

Are they trying to insulate themselves from the World at large????   Although they live on an island contintent,  it is doubtful they can be an island seperate from the World .

However,   I have an idea of what they want to keep restricted.   But will it work?
