i finally got around to posting some pics of the fabulous gun. the checkering on this gun is as good or better than any gun i own including the theoben. it has a 10-shot rotary mag( which i have 8 of them ) and i can get 3 mags out of it before i recharge. it has a fully shrouded barrel with baffles which make it as quiet as the marauder. it has a factory installed adjustable butt pad that adusts with one screw which is really nice for bench shooting. i shot crow mags in it and it sprays them over 1000 fps so i started shooting the "real" heavies in it with the jsb monsters ( 25.4g) and eun jin (28.5g) and it shoots them around 940 fps. the only thing i would change about this gun is the length. its a long one!! i really like this gun and you guys won't be seeing it on the chopping block unless i'm in dire-straights for money. i can't say enough about this gun and how much power it has. i have eliminated all the fur-creatures around here with my other guns so today i wanted to see some blood and took a shot at a bird. the eun jin went all the way through the bird and literally knocked him backwards off the tree at 60 yards. here's some pics........the last one is a comparison of the crow-mag (far left), jsb monsters (center), and eun jin (far right)....

CONGRATULATIONS Roger !
A beautiful Air Rife indeed !!!!!
Can the power be adjusted for more conservative shooting ???? I should look it up, but I'm way to tired tonight ! All that melting snow and rain flooding my celler, for two nights, tires a man out ! :-(
Good luck and success with her, she's a beauty !!! Kinda makes me want to join the "DARK SIDE" :0

STOP posting about Evanix guns,,,,
It makes me want one or both of
the ARs back....
That stock looks identical to the AR stock
apart from the nob bit at the front...
Is there any plastic on it...the AR has NO plastic anywhere
And I have looked....Prob why they are so heavy...
Anyway Nice gun......

very nice! Congrats!

Now that you mention it, Peter, the only plastic on the Renegade is the cover on the pressure gauge. I continue to be very impressed with my Evanix carbine, it makes me wonder why they aren't more popular (YET!). I suspect when everyone gets over being gaga over the Marauder, some of the other similar priced guns are going to get some serious attention. Should be an interesting year in the PCP world :-). Later.

I'm convinced that I need a Blizzard. I just can't afford one. Maybe I should sell most of my springers. That should get me a down payment on one.
I wonder how the Rabbit Magnum II pellets would shoot out of that thing, with the power cranked all the way up?
Where'd you get the slip on sunshade for your scope?
-
there is NO power adjustment on the blizzard. if you want less power then you will have to change the spring in it. the gun i have actually was "tuned up" to produce these numbers. there is NO plastic on the blizzard. that is one reason why it is so heavy. those "rok" fellows make it all metal with no bluing. they black oxide or annodize the metals. the slip-on scope sunshade is a new product i started selling by "clear-shot". they are a little flimsey but work well and i wanted to test it before i advertised them on my web site. to be honest with you, a piece of radiator hose will do the same thing.......
-
Mr B whats the fpe on that blizzard?and how many shots per fill?
-
my gun has been modded and shoots 50+fpe. the stock blizzards are shooting in the 40fpe range. i get about 30 shots off before recharging the air to 200 bar.
-
im looking at the ar6 version but its way too loud
-
This is what I use to do with the AR..
But I surspect it can't be done on the blizzard
"but then I an't seen a Blizzard"
With the AR the valve shaft stuck out the back for the hammer
to strike...I use to put a peice of rubber tube over the valve shaft
to reduce its travel..."lower the power out put" Took about 10secs to put
it on of off......
Maybe a possability on the Blizzard..????

The thread above will give information on how to adjust the power a bit. Apparently there is an adjustment method that will work.
Right now mine is on the porch at 6 below zero. Has lost enough air pressure due to cold to take the guage to just under the 200BAR mark. At 75 in the house for a couple days after filling it was just at the 200BAR mark. I will be shooting it through a few mags the next few daysl while the temps stay under Zero to see how it performs in the cold. Later I will shoot it when the daytime temps stay under 20 below to see if it feels any different.
All I can say about the rifle is that it is Very Nice, easy to shoot and has lots of power.

When I got my blizzard I put the three first pellets through the same hole at 45 yds. I thought I had a flyer or two until I looked in the wood backboard. I was delighted and impressed. I had shot expert in the military and this was the airgun I was looking for.

i found a few bad raps about the blizzard on some other forums about loose screws or leaking air but you will always find one or two of those on any gun.....even the disco and marauder had some faulty assemblies. overall most of the blizzard owners i have seen have posted mostly great things about the gun. its very accurate and very powerful. i give it a 4 out of 5 overall rating. the length and the weight are the only reasons i don't give it a 5 star rating.

Have you had any issues with pellets sliding back in the clip and jamming on he breech block when the clip rotates?
I purchased my blizzard in January of 09 and I'm not sure if there is an issue with my clips possibly being a little loose(pellet bore).
If I use a small waisted pellet such as a crow mag, when I tip the gun up- back to cock the gun the pellet sometimes slides back and gets pinched during the rotation of the clip. If I keep the muzzle down or level there is no problem.
I was wondering if you experienced this issue.

I wonder if the magazines aren't all quite perfect as crow magnums in mine fit very snug. I did have one CPHP slide back and jam but that is the only one. All the others I have tried have worked well. And yes, count me as one who likes the rifle. In the coming weeks I will get a few chances to shoot it at 20 below zero temperatures and see how it does.

U always hear about the few bad ones..
But you will never hear about the 1000s
of good ones....
It wasn't that long ago if you owned a Evanix
you owned junk....comments by people that had never
seen a Evanix let alone held or shot one...

The one we have is very nice. The fact that folks like Gene who tunes Air Rifles is looking to get one say a lot about it. Sure doesn't sound as if he is getting it to be a project rifle, does it?
-
Other than the pellets sliding in the clips. I have no issues- well one, I can't load the clips fast enough to keep my trigger finger happy. It always seems to amaze me when I get the air blast because I couldn't have shot ten already.
I have just trained myself to cock the gun with the muzzle down.

Bahawanna.... who did you get to mod your blizzard for you......I want to see if it is posible to have the bolt switched over for left hand use.......
-
i haven't had any problems with the pellets falling out but i have only shot jsb monsters, beeman crow-mags (only a few), and eun jin pellets in it. the monsters and the eun jins fit fairly snug in magazines.
