Hi everybody,
I would like to start hunting small game with my Gamo Hunter 440 and want to use a scope. What make and model of scope would you Gamo owners recommend?
Thanks!

Hi GamoHunter
Hey BryanC has a good article he posted last nite. Do a search on Scope and you will find everything he wrote. Fantastic post.

I think that was my article there Gene...haha

I noticed. :) Good article.
I think I'll go with a $70-range BSA.

Best place I've found to get the BSA's are http://www.sportsmansguide.com and http://www.opticsplanet.com
Right now sportsmansguide is out of the scopes, I just checked... but opticsplanet has them with free shipping. Just make sure you get the one labled 'air rifle' ....

If you go to the Midsouth shooter supply home page and click on the "June specials" it will bring you to a link for a complete line of BSA scopes and the prices are pretty good :D

I just bought a refurb BSA 4x40 A/O airgun scope from Natchez for a mere $24 + shipping. Looks like it was just a return, it hasn't a scratch and was new in the box.
A couple weeks ago I bought a BSA 3-12x40 A/O airgun scope from Sportsmans Guide for $30 + shipping.
Look around, there are places selling scopes pretty reasonably.
I did have good luck with the Bushnell Sportsman 3-9x32 A/O on an untuned (harsh) B18 for a couple years. It held up to the recoil just fine. I still use the scope, although I sold the gun awhile back.
