Santa came a few days after Christmas this year...

Kitty likes the box; I like what came in it!  AA S410 .22 Sidelever Carbine.

The Nikko Stirling 4-16x44 scope hasn't shown up yet due to the holidays, but man I can't wait!

I officially outgrew my small gun rack, so I'm building a new one today to house the two AA's, plus room for more (wishful thinking!) I may not get it finished today, but at least it's something to do while I'm waiting for the scope to arrive. Oh, yeah, and I guess I could be shooting the TX and P17!

I'll try to remember to post more pix once I get the scope mounted.

Congrats on your new PCP....and it's an AA S410SL FAC carbine in Walnut I believe. Woohoo. Exactly the same one I got abit over a year ago....only mine's have a Beech stock.

Just a word of advice.....beware of the trigger safety.......there's a very small hex screw behind the trigger that lot's of AA 410 owners have lost. That screw pushes on a very small spring....and the spring pushes a very small ball bearing that acts on the trigger safety. If that screw backs out....you might lose it, the spring, the ball bearing and the trigger safety. On the U.K Air Arms websites....some owners use blue Loc-Tite or nail polish to glue that screw in.

I got mine from Pomona Air Guns.....I tested the trigger safety a few times when I first got it....andit worked. After that I never used the trigger safety and then about 500 shots later....I tried to put the safety into "On Safe" and it won't go in. Later on...I took the trigger guard off and unscrewed the little hex screw out....and horrors....the spring and little ball bearing was never in there!!!!! In other words.....the only thing that made the trigger safety work was it was being scraped on the tip of the hex screw.

I'll need to fax Steve at Pomona Air Guns to see if he can send me the spring and little ball bearing.

Btw, have fun with your new toy....and your cat looks protective of her new air rifle. heh heh

Thanks for the heads-up! I will have to look for that and see about securing it.

Still no scope yet; looks like I won't see it until Monday, as UPS has the day off today.

Wishing you all lots of safe and happy shooting in the new year!

Russell.  Why don't you use the cat as your avatar???  Good looking animal.

And Congrats on your new AG.  All Santa brought me was a bag of switches and some lumps of coal.  Oh well,   Somethings never change.
