OK guys Ive been reading this site quite a bit lately. As a result Ive been shooting like crazy and obsessing even more about buying yet another rifle. Now I'm curious about this Benjamin Discovery .22 - Who has one? They look and sound like pretty nice guns. My impression is they are quite accurate and seem like a good buy for the money.
Up till now Ive only had experience with regular firearms and the 4 springers I own. I love them all. Now that my sights are set on this Discovery thing I cant get it out of my head. Some please relate your experiences with these and if any current owners would like to chime in with any input Id appreciate it.
Thanks! :o

I own one and love it.I say go for it you won't regret it.I,like many, didn't care for the feel of the stock, but Timbo can fix that for ya.I was hesitant on buying it cause I didn't want to have to lug a pump around all the time but It isn't a big deal once you get used to it.With 30 or so good shots per fill, even more with a +/- power adjuster,I like not having to take the gun off the bench for a while when I'm target shooting.

Get one!!! Don't think about it just do it. I will say contact Mac1 and get one prepped by him. No problems to worry about ready to hunt. They are the best thing going for the money on the PCP market. I have a tuned one from Mountain Air and I pick it up first cause it weighs 6lbs scoped and puts out 24fpe for 16-18 shots. HTH

Thanks guys, the idea of the pump is an odd one for me, but not negative. Its really tempting. Are they the type of rifle that shoots well out of the box? My experience with RWS has been outstanding from the minute I got it. Gamo not so much, but they break in well. I know stock guns can periodically pose a challenge. You guys are about to push me over the edge.

Don't do it! :D :D The Darkside has cookies, but I fear is more addicting. Mine is stock except for a TKO muzzle break, and I really like it. The pumping up isn't bad at all, and its quiet and accurate.
Below is a 9mm case, shot at about 10 meters. One shot, one kill.
