I got a walther force 1000 for Christmas (same gun as the tf89). I've torn it down and I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of this gun! The piston looks to lathe turned, the trigger sears are hardened and cut nice and square to each other without any harsh burrs, plus the trigger is easily adjustable and easy to work on. I would like to replace the spring with a JM spring, but I don't see anything that he has that looks like it would fit. Does anyone know which of his springs can be used? Gene? Also what seal is being used to replace a nicked one?
thanks in advance!

Scott, the Maccari E9870 spring will work in the TF89. As far as seals, you have 2 choices. You can get with Compasseco andorder afactory seal or buy a Maccari but you will have to make an adapter post to mount it to your piston. There is also a drop-in kit being put together by Compasseco for these AGs. From what I hear they should be available within the next 2 weeks at an estimated cost of $75. Not sure if it includes a new piston or seal though, I need to look at the site to see what info they have on it.
Hope some of this helps.
Happy Shooting!!!!

thanks Dave! I'll probably be ordering one of those springs. How does it fit on the OEM guide? These are really, really good guns for the price.
thanks, Scott

It was a perfect drop-in with my TF89.

Dave,
how did it shoot with the new spring? Did the velocity stay about the same?
thanks, Scott

My velocity stayed about the same. But that's not typical. Normally you will see better output. I need to do some more playing with mine as far as breach seal and such. A Maccari replacement springwill generallyup your power some.
