i have noticed that a lot of air rifles look the same,what is the power plant in a varmint hunter

other than the scope set up its the same as a big cat go cheaper get you a big cat at wallmart for 129.00 or online at cabelas/airgundepot/for a lot cheaper and buy a techforce varmint red dot/flashlight set up at compasseco for 39.00 or a bsa set up at pyramid air for 39.00 lol and its way cheaper than the varmint hunter package but you will have to swap that sorry trigger .but if it were me i would get the techforce set up and mount that to a ruger black hawk .177 cal total= less than $150.00 and the ruger is a rws 34 clone with a way better trigger,and a way sweeter gun with some power/and range and better looking im sure others will chime in on this good luck.

also the power plant is 1000 fps in both varmint hunter and big cat and the same with the ruger :emoticon:

The Ruger that you are referring too is not like the Big Cat or the Gamo Varmint Hunter. Totally different .

thanks that answered the question. what other rifles in the gamo line are the same? as for the vh combo scope it now rests on my crosman2100 classic.i replaced the trigger with grt III and the scope with 4x16x40 centerpoint .

i meant as for the fps not the guns as a whole.
