an airgun? Mine was a squirrel at 43 yards with the new benji using jsb exact jumbo heavy pellets at 18.1 grains. The 392 is stock, and i am amazed at its accuracy. The super sear will be here soon. I could actually see the pellet flying through the air the last few feet, but the squirrel didn't even twitch. The shot hit right behind the eye. I held about 3 inches high...So whats your best shot with an air rifle?

I went through my posts here on GTA and my longest kill recorded here is 55 yards. It was a clean pass through head shot on a BT using my .22 cal LoneStar.
-
So far a chipper at about 30 yards with the 850

It's not much compared to what many others have done, but it put a smile on my face ... right after the surprised look wore off ! :D

40 yards is the farthest i would attempt with the benji. I get groups the size of a quarter at 40 yards, but i have to hold over quite a bit to hit where i'm aiming. Anything past 40 ish i could shoot and reload the gun before the pellet hits home. The pellet entered the head, but never exited. One more tail for mepps, and some more squirrel dumplings for me...It's a win win you see? Keep them coming guys..

Hey man, that's a good shot. Those little boogers don't hold still long.....
-
If I am not mistaken, Timbo has had a successful 100 yards kill of a feathered creature.

"Hey man, that's a good shot. Those little boogers don't hold still long....."
Thanks, lucky for me, this one slowed down just long enough.
"If I am not mistaken, Timbo has had a successful 100 yards kill of a feathered creature."
Wow ! Anything that far out I'd have to put the pellet in an envelop and mail it !!!! :D

Sixty three yard body shot at a Starling with a .177 Gamo Viper using a CPHP pellet. A couple of buddies and I were plinking in a field and rounded a patch of trees and saw them pecking on the ground. We leaned on some trees...I aimed at the right side of the flock and my friends took aim at the center and left side. At the count of three we squeezed the trigger. I was the only one to drop a bird. When we went to pick up my bird I turned around and ranged the distance to the trees with my brand new rangefinder...we were surprised that it was 63 yards.

My best was a tree rat on the ground by my friends chicken coop shot it resting on the hood of my truck a AA410 erb with a 18.1 JSB right through the head one mildot up at 67 paces the dirt behind his head exsploded . I also shot a feral cat at 80 paces with my gamo VH another direct head shot with a predator we found blood but he ran off in the woods so i cant comfirm the kill . Also back before i gave my bro my disco we shot chipmunks off our wood pile at 40 to 50 yards regular http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v734/TheKnot/cleankill40yrds.jpg after my bro took this one at 4o yards i just gave him the gun http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v734/TheKnot/woodpile1.jpg our woodpile it 50 yards from where we park to the end and lots of fun

This last November I took out a ground squirrel with my .22cal Crosman Nitro that I had lasered at 67 yards. It was on a branch of a fallen tree that was up on a hillside. When I nailed him he did 3 beautiful flips in the air before hitting terra firma.

P-dogs at 45yrds but that's about max range that I like to shoot small game with consistent accuracy. I'd rather sneak in on em with stealth and take em out with a direct shot to the fusebox. One example is this G-hog taken last summer with a stock 1377, open sight's and CPHP I dropped him at 15yrds. Ed

54 yard squirrel with .177 superdome at 860 fps from a talon SS. 61 yards feather with .177 cphp at 910 fps from a B40. Both shots confirmed kills and range confirmed with bushnell finder. pics of first on forum under "talon reputation untarnished". other one is not on record, but damn it was a good shot...

nice hog gun looks good as well

Mine was a ground squirrel at about 45 yards I shot him with my 850. Crazyhorse ranged him for me with his laser range finder.
-
67 yards, .22 crossman premier , ground squirrel, RX2 with bipod..

My longest kill with an airgun was with my Benjamin Discovery .22. I dropped a starling at 70 yards with a JSB Predator to the chest.

Starling at 60-65yds est. with a 760 Pumper back in 1983 using a BB! I must have hit with 1-2fpe at that range. Dropped dead from 55-60ft up.
More recent longest shot was a crow at 51-52yds using a Condor with 21gr Kodiak.
-
Two starlings at 68 yards with my TF-89 last weekend. 2.75 mil-dots high.
-
Had kills out to 100m but required a finishing shot..
The longest dead kill would be 75m...Guns were
Evanix AR6 .22 & Career Infinity .22
but up tp 50m is more the norm..

82yds, Diana 350, 0.177 CPHP, Square-on chest shot.
Instant kill...I was impressed!
-
56 yards on Super bowl Sunday I shot a starling at 56 yards off hand shooting a 22 cal Mendoza with a velocity of 488 fps. Think it was about half luck, maybe more.
