Try and get a B26. I tried one out yesterday and fell in love with it, and I am a pcp man.
The rifle is light and accurate.

Wish I had the extra money for one myself.

Might help if you tell us what you want it for. There are lots of less expensive (not cheaply made) springers that shoot 500 - 650 fps if you are shooting target, for example.
-
What do you consider extremely cheap? $25-50, $50-100, $100-200
What do you consider decent? Gamo, Crosman, Beeman?
-
Jim I sent ya an email bud!
Mainly looking for a rifle that can handle daily pest control. Not really planning on using for targeting. Basically something way below $100, dipping down into the low $60's. Basically anything I'm open to -- something that shoots. If I had to choose then my main two would be GAMO or Crosman; other brands are fine such as BAM/XS, Beeman....but definitely not Daisy that's for sure. I edited my first post to be more specific

Well, what kind of pests? Birds can be done at low power. Squirrels, no. (Not humanely.) I'm thinking something Chinese or a used Crosman? Maybe a used two barrel Beeman set from Wally World?

i can sell you a brand new webley jaguar for $100 shipped, or a lubed and tuned hammerli storm for $75 and you pay shipping. the storm is .22 cal - shoots 720 fps w/ crosman premier hp's and is very smooth and easy to cock. there are some dents where someone hammered the barrel pin back through, but it's very lightweight and accurate. clean kills on cottontails at 35 yards. the webley jaguars shoot harder - 760-770 fps w/ .22 crosman premiers. both are very effective for pest control. more info here : http://www.raneair.webs.com . take care. - paul d self.

Just your average mice/rats, raccoons and other backyard critters. A chinese springer rings my bell and so do Crosmans -- being as that they're inexpensive and easy to maintain (in my opinion).
I will get back to you on that ranedouglas! Now let's see some more shooters!

You might want something at the higher power end of the scale if you are after 'coons. They are much tougher than other varmints. Consider going up to $125 or so. Not a big jump in price and, eventually, you will be wanting a bit more anyway.

If you had the time to watch all the classifieds, I'd say do that. Anything worth having is usually sold hours after it's posted.
At the price range your looking for people will buy it just because it's cheap.
You have gotten alot of good suggestions so far, and you being in a rush and all, any of them would be good.
I'd recommend that you look for a Ruger Blackhawk .177. It has all the power you need and is a copy of the Diana 34's.
They can be had with scope for around $90 new at most online sites. You can't go wrong with it at that price.

jerry, you have e-mail...........:)

Hate to be a party pooper but this really needs to go to the airgun gate or china gate. Its turning into a debate instead of buying or selling. Thanks.

I won't be checking this thread again -- thank you to those who have helped. Otherwise it's not going anywhere.
