: How to remove 640 stock?

Have GRT III in hot little hand.  But ... there's a mounting screw hidden under those little dark gray grips on the forward part of the stock.  Do the gray grips just pop off?  Thought I'd ask before I wrecked anything.

Yes they pop off , But take it easy , you don't want to rip the rubber tips....

Got 'em.  I'd been storing the gun in the garage where it's nearly freezing, so with your caution about ripping the tips in mind I let it come up to room temp first, but then they popped off very nicely.  Thanks.  Trigger's installed, and can't wait for daylight to adjust it and start shooting!

I ripped off one of those plugs, when I plied open those forward grips on my Viper the first time I needed to get to those screws. (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif)
