: Well this is old news to many of you but....

The other night I finished installing the GRT-III trigger in my CFX. I never knew there was a way to improve that mushy trigger until I started coming around here...now its like a whole new gun.

I've been neglecting it ever since I started buying other rifles for that very reason; now its really renewed my appreciation for the CFX. Kinda makes me wish I still had my Whisper too.

It seems everyone else around here already knows about it and are probably tired of hearing it said but I still have to give big "props" to Charlie Da Tuna.

Have a nice weekend.

Respect.

Yes Matt,

It has been some time since I discovered the GREAT GRT-III Trigger, and it has made my shooting experience with the Gamo, and many other air guns very enjoyable !!!!!!

I'm happy that you too will find a new level of enjoyment when shooting your GRT-III Trigger. A GREAT Trigger is never something that we get tired of hearing of.

The BEST Modification for any air gunlucky enough to takethe GRT-III trigger !

Best of Luck Matt !

Bill

Happy to hear it!!! Naw its not old news...I always look forward to hearing the praises of the GRTIII. I have em in my gunz too. My CFX .22 is the best of all of em as far as the GRTIII goes. I got that baby butter smooth!!!.

I got a GRT III trigger for Christmas. I knew it would be better. But wow I did not expect it to be this much better. I put it in a Crosman Quest 22. It is sweet

Not news here, - but it certainly "changed/greatly improved" my Whisper and both Phantoms, not to mention the Crosman 800X. - Kinda improves the shooting quite a bit, nice to have a crisp trigger, instead of wondering "when will it fire".

You're lucky you got the CFX with the old metal trigger and not the new ones with the crappy plastic one.

It's absolutely amazing how a $30 upgrade took an average springer, and made it a consistent, accurate fun shooter!!!!! That thing breaks like glass EVERY time!!! I was lucky enough to have my 3 Whispers and CFX, Turbo Tuned by the Tuna Fish before he hung up his spring compressor!! Anyone out there, with any Gamo, with the metal trigger MUST drop in a GRT!!!! You, literally, will not believe the difference!!!
