: Marauder Bullpup?
: ShadowShot January 19, 2010, 07:30:53 AM
I have a Marauder and BSA Lonestar in .22. I am wanting to make a Bullpup out of one of them. I dont want it to be permanet so I can put it back in the regular stock if and when I want. I have no idea about how to do this. The trigger and the scope mount seems to be the biggest challenge.  Lets make this a project for the team here. Please post some ideas.

I would love to have an Edgun but they are a little to pricey for my blood.

What kind of Bullpup are we talking here? Like AUG/A2, Famas (Clarion), L85A1/A2, etc...? I'm just naming a few popular ones, but seeing as that many of the Bullpup designs incorporate the longer barrel type setup(s); you can use that to your advantage. Were you looking into making the stock/body out of synthetic/plastic, metal, or wood? Or perhaps custom fabrication via Fiberglass and or casting?

Jarred, the stock will be wood.  I dont have any special tools, ability or connections for anything else. Definitly not the AUG/A2 or the L85A1/A2. I have never liked the looks of those rifle. The  Edgun has a good look.    Peter, I have seen that here on the forum. I am wondering how they made and secured the block and scope mount to it.

I am getting some ideas from this post on another forum.  www.airrifle.co.za (http://www.airrifle.co.za/showthread.php?t=10245)

I thought this guy had a novel idea for the triger work over on the Yellow. (http://www.network54.com/Forum/113813/thread/1243998431/1244104000/poor+man+qb78+hpa+bullpup+update)

It looks like there is a bolt that goes between the barrel & air tube..
block would be in two sections..

OMG, is #2 a QB-57 based rig? Now that's pretty redneck for a Spanish feller. Very creative.

I actualy like the idea best of using an electro trigger from a modern paint marker and relocating the solenoid to actuate the trigger..... talk about light trigger pull... litterally mouseclick light......

you can pick up electronic gripframes for alot of the lower end markers for pretty cheap....
