: Tread Locker at Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight carries a thread locker brand called   MXLOC   at a very cheap price.   Has anyone used this product and how has it performed for you.  Does it hold or cause any problems?.
It seems that many here on this forum haunt this place and maybe you have tried it.
It is made in Taiwan.

Thanks.

I've never tried the Harbor Frieght thread locker, but I have tried a number of the brand X thread lockers sold in hardware and autoparts stores. Very disappointing results. Some didn't do anything - others were no where near as good  at holding as 3M's Locktite brand.

Now I only buy the Locktite. It's not cheap, but it works, and even the smallest bottles last for many years of mounting new scopes, or moving scopes I have from gun to gun.

I have pro seal thread locker from HF which I think was $1.99 medium strength in red bottle and compared it to loctite and the pro seal was better. I saw that MXLOC should compare to the Pro Seal. I compared both on a new bolt & nut and pro seal required more umph to break. Loctite cost more for less.
