(Couldn't direct him here.)

"I was curious about the "new" stated condition of this gun since the store has all the airguns out of the box, assembled and ready for show. I noticed right off the bat that the stock screws had blue threadlock on them! Is this factory? Secondly, the underside of the spring has what looks like a black grease type substance on the spring itself and a glob near the forward point of the trigger.I paid 189.00 for this gun that was sold as new. I see new Hunter sports online from 179.00 to 199.00 and if this is used i need to negotiate the price paid."

Not so sure about the Loctite, myself.

Yes, the blue loctite comes standard on the stock screws.

I paid $189.00 for my hunter sport as well; about 2 months ago.  I've done my own lube, clean, & trigger upgrade.  I found Blue lock tite on all stock screws and factory lube in said places.  It is recomended that you use lock tite when you reassemble your AR.  I always clean off the old and apply new when putting the AR back together.

Sounds like you do in fact have a new shooter.  Clean that bore, lube that trigger/internals and lock tite it up, even scope screws.  Then shoot that thing.

Thanks, guys. Will pass it along. And use it if I pick up a new Gamo.
