: Beeman SS1000T - has no power
: kkoenning February 01, 2010, 03:40:53 PM
I acquired a Beeman SS1000T (belongs to my son-in-law's brother) that was "shooting all over the place". Well, I shot it at my trap from 25 feet and the pellet barely stuck in the duct seal--maybe penetrated approximately 1/16-inch.

I expect I will find that the spring is broken or the piston seal is blown, or both. I have worked on (tuned) a couple of Remington Summits, a couple of Crosman g1's, a Gamo CFX, a Gamo Big Cat, and a couple of Ruger Airhawks. This one comes apart a little differently. After I figure out how to get it apart, where can I purchase parts for it?

Thanks for your help.

Check with James Maccari his sight is posted in GTA's "MALL" section. He sell's spring and piston seal replacements for airguns. I don't know what spring and seal you need but if you shoot James a e-mail  he may recommend the ones needed or it may be listed at his sight. Ed

Check with Compasseco, I emailed them a while back for spare to my 2 yr old RS2. I just need to get measurments on the seal and spring. The TF89 has a similar powerplant based on AR1000 series break rifle. I just did want to open up my RS2 after tuning here to get the measurements for she shoot very good. Here's a clip of the email with contact.

You can order the spring and seal from Beeman.

Less the $10 for both when I bought them last summer.
