Global Warming!
Well, the nation's lawmakers are about to get a taste of global warming, I guess. Hope everyone has food, fuel, water and warm clothing stockpiled.

Yup it's getting so warm everywhere now that the price of snow shovels just went yup lol. Ed

Looks like we should've had the 2010 Olympics in Washington D.C....and not in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. They're rained out so far heh heh. They're trucking and plowing snow from other areas to their venues.

No question about it, - a complete pleasure to watch. - These folks "fib all the time" - back in the 70's it was "The Coming Ice Age", the next "problem" was acid rain was going to destroy all the capitalist countries, apparently sparing everyone else. After that, in the 80's our next total calamity was Aids, at some point that was sure to wipe us all out, - not kiddin' this time. They tried a re-run of that during the Clinton years - with the same predictable results. - Fast forward - and now it's "global warming" which was bs from day 1, - so it morphed into a much safer "climate change". - Heck, no denying the climate changes, - but so what, it always has. - They're kinda back to "square one" right now, - but hang on, there WILL be another world ending problem soon, - and only more government rules, taxes & regulations will solve it. ... ;)
-
You forgot the hole in the ozone.
-
Bingo, - you're right, thank Gawd we took care of that, no telling where we'd be without banning those nasty antiperspirant cans. - Totally a guess here, - but the next "world ending problem" might well revolve around plate tectonics - seriously. No telling how many earthquakes, volcanoes & maybe even hurricanes are caused by people owning too much "heavy stuff". Things like SUVS, boats, pick-ups, trailers, trains, large buildings, especially factories, - not to mention large personal houses. - What we'll need to survive are golf carts, inflatable boats and yes, - inflatable houses, they do exist. - Naturally the only way to insure our survival is by taxing everything based on its' weight. ... ;) - (Seriously - to pull off what these folks truly want, is a "world wide problem" - requiring a worldwide solution, read U.N. global government. That's what it's really about)
