Not personally familiar with this manufacturer, saw a post on it on another forum and thought I'd post it. Only $95 bucks,, perhaps one of you guys know if it's worth it.
Here is the site: http://www.sarcoinc.com/rifles.html#goodies
Here is the advertising write up on it along with a picture.

Jeff, checked them out, almost look's like a side cocker B3?. never heard of them though. Ed
-
I guess it's like a B-21 clone, but like you Ed, I'm not familiar with the manufacturer.

-
I think so Jeff, anyone have one out there and that is a nice stock. Ed
-
looks like a b21 or b30

You may be correct on that Eric.. I know because CDT told me he has done them before.. Chinese side cocker.. Could it also be a B4. hmm.. I bet CDT would know.....:)

Looks like a B40 to me. If so, $95 is a very good deal, a new B40 is almost $300. Wallis would know, maybe he'll check in.

I just noticed the 2 piece cocking arm, B21. Heavy gun 9-10 pounds. I think i read it's in the high 800 to low 900 fps (real world). I was thinking about buying its sister the B30, same design except for 1 piece cocking arm and shorter barrel. The .22 is the one to get low 800 fps.
-
don't have one but most pictures and write ups list b40 as an underlever cocker.
-
Brain fart, guess that'll teach me to pay more attention to the gun, rather than the gun rack ;-)!

that is a b21, same power house as the b30 with exception of the longer barrel and 2 piece socking arm. The b30 has the shorter barrel and one piece cocking arm. the price is very good for that gun, the normal cost of the b30 is around 135.00 the dealers really don't make squat on these guns . 177 caliber would push around 950 but the recoil is very very harsh without a tune,it is known to eat scopes for lunch and supper with the harsh recoil of these. the 22 if they have some would hit around 750-800 depending on pellets.

thanks wallis. folks what is the best place to get a b40, from a decent price and support perspective. i hear a lot of horror stories on the chinese air guns sold and then the buyer is on their own for support, tuning etc.
-
Yep, this is a B21. I just called Sarco. I was going to order one, but they advised they are out of stock. The woman I spoke with there said to call back inseveral weeks, they may get more.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm pretty new to the air gun thing, past few months. It seems the bug hit me hard too, even if I am a girl, LOL. I have a long history with firearms. I started pretty young. My dad got me a Daisy BB gun when I was 10, and then had me pheasant hunting with him @ 12. He bought me a Mossberg 20ga. I spent a lot of my youth enjoying being outdoors with my dad. My enthusiasm for shooting continued throughout my life. I have always been involved in target shooting and still own a fair number of "smokepoles." I was involved in Cowboy Action shooting, SASS for a few years.
I got into air guns a few months ago as a result of needing to cope with a pest control problem. I had a Crossman 760 that i had owned for years, but that gun, as you all know, was not up to the task. My first "real" airgun was a Quest 1000. I was so pleased with it and its performance that I did a bunch of research, got really enthused. Now it seems things have snowballed! I even sold a few of my "Cow Girl" smoke guns to buy a couple of the nice German pieces I have.
The current stable, (aresnal, quiver?): RWS 34 Panther .22, RWS 36 .177, HW 30 .177, Quest 1000 .177, Beeman (Norica) GH 950 .22, Beeman (Chinese) GS650 .177.
This passtime is way too much fun! I can shoot pretty much anytime, not the production to go to a range that shooting powder guns is. Like so many neophytes I have found that shooting precison air guns is very demanding, and is a great way to keep one's skills sharp. Gosh, my "magnum springers" really test my skills!
Sorry for the long winded post. I just wanted thank you all for the warm welcome. You seem like a really great bunch of people.

Glad you give us an update on your experiences with smokepoles:) And you are exactly right about the springer air rifles and guns pose as a challenge...:) I love them for that exact reason.. I am realitivly new with almost two years under my belt.. hehe I got hooked right away and it seems it just keeps getting better. I own two PCP's and although they are superior in accuracy and easy to shoulder, they can get boring shooting them because they are so easy to shoot. But are great hunting rifles.. But there is nothing like tuning up a springer to shoot as accurate as the PCP's can be. Then comes the challenge of being able to shoot them with precision accuracy..:) But it is a fantastic hobby and sport which keeps us off the streets and outa da bars.. hehe

Had one a while back, wasn't a bad gun. Then (a few weeks ago) I got a real '48... factory refurb ($226 shipped). WORLD of difference. Yes, the mechanicals were similar... but the smoothness and refinement of the '48 was vastly superior. It's lighter, easier to cock, at least as much power, no twang or buziness at all, and a very likeable trigger. Looks better, too.
