: Sheridan trigger pull
: maxi February 08, 2010, 02:30:14 PM
I recently  purchased  a Sheridan 20 cal and been enjoying every chance I get to shoot it. I sighted it in using the open sights and have been shooting pretty damn good ,I say, for a set of 45yr old eyes.I hear a lot about improving my accuracy by improving trigger pull.Any suggestions guys.

How old is your "Dan? Late model rifle triggers (from about 1998 and onward) can be tuned using ideas from the Airgunsmith website. I used some of these ideas to make the trigger of my 392 (basically the same thing as a Sheridan, but in .22) a whole lot nicer.

How does the trigger adjuster work?

How does the trigger adjuster work?

Basically, the small set screw pushes the trigger so it can not go all the way forward. The way I set it was to cock the gun then turn the set screw in until it fires then back the screw back out until it will cock and will NOT fire when bumped. Hope that makes sense.
