Hi guys - my first time trying a match. I'm shooting a Daisy 953 with a Gamo scope, primier wadcutters. Top right target scored incorrectly. It is scored 29 not 31.

Thsnks Gamo2 - this site has taught me a lot about the world of air gunning. Up until a few weeks a go I had no idea of the following of the sport. I will be here for a while and will be learning. Why do you think I keep tearing the paper on my shots? I'm using heavy paper, the only thing I come up with is I'm moving right before the shot. Whats your take. Thanks in advance for your help.

Try putting the target sheet onto a cardboard. The pellet is partially punching a hole in the paper but dragging the rest. With a cardboard behind it....the cardboard prevents the dragging part. Ithink the slower velocity of airguns cause that too. When I shoot my air pistols (Normally weaker than rifles) sometimes I get tears even with a cardboard behind.
