Ok folks, I'm fairly new to airgunning but I believe I'm hooked already.. I have a Big Cat with the GRT-III trigger(made a huge difference), now I'm looking for my second toy. I was wondering what everyones opinion of the QB36-2 is?

my two cents is for the price you cant beat them. pros; more accurate than any of my break barrels, especially at long ranges, cons; very heavy rifle good for bench rest shooting but I don't think you want to carry it around in the woods all day. also has a leather piston seal some like that but I would rather have synthetic. power is in the low 900's fps 177, average for most of my 1000fps rifles

I agree with Shaft. I felt mine was money well spent. It is a large heavy rifle. But then this helps tame the recoil which helps accuracy.

Thanks for the input guys, I beleive that I will be purchasing one of the in the very near future. How are these guns to do a tune on?

They are tuneable but you will want to make a spring compressor- there is a lot of pre-load on this spring.
You didn't say what you want it for, or what you're willing/going to spend. It is a heavy, powerfulrifle. It can be pretty accurate. You can improve the trigger, but it is not target grade, and there is no GRT-III upgrade. You just smooth out what it comes with.
QB36-2 was my second truespringer. I am not sure it's an upgrade from a BC with Charlie's trigger. Maybe define a purpose and a budget for a second gun, and see what the group suggests, unless you found a swingin' dealon this model?

It will probably get shared duty with my BC as my squirrel getter (depending on the accuracy) and an all around plinker. Don't really wanna spebd more than $200 right now, my mad money budget is a little on the tight side right now..lol

I have one on the classifieds that was already tuned for $80. Look under TF99.
