Hi guys I love my new RWS 350 magnum .22. I love the style and it size.... but..... It is too heavy at the front and I would like
to get a better weight balance WITHOUT cut the barrel.
I always hold my rifle next to the trigger guard to shoot.
There is another procedure or attachment to balance rifles?

About all you can do is weight the butt. Maybe removed the pad, carefully drill a hole or two and fill with something like lead shot. Another option that I haven't seen mentioned on the AG forums but is a useful aid in shooting heavy barreled muzzle loaders is a "Moses stick". This is a medium length staff that you can use while hiking/hunting. You grab the staff with your thumb and use the fingers to support the forend. Even a slender aluminum type hiking stick will work if it's long enough. And you can still go for the light artillery hold.

I would not suggest cutting the barrel down... it will harm the rifles pressure curve/timing and if the barrel is choked (I don't know) it will definitely screw up accuracy.
RedFeather's weight idea and the shooting stick as well, both have merrit. That or move your off-hand a bit further forward... a hold right at the trigger guard seems a bit excessive for off-hand shooting, even an inch or two further forward might aleviate your balance issues.
You could also try a thick padded palm, match type glove... that would change the ergonomics of the hold quite a bit.

If I'd have kept my 350, I'd definitely have weighted the back. Shot or bbs are a great idea. I've also used scale weights, but then my father was a toxicologist, so we had these lying around -- most people wont.

Of all the suggestions given, I like Chris's solution the best. Moving your palm forward an inch or two will make a big difference with the 'artillery' type hold. Seach "how to shoot a B-28" in the China Gate. Mike gave a great post on holding the rifle at it's center balance point. I've used both, and have found my hold of the rifle is some what of a mix of the two holds. RF's idea of adding weight to the stock has it's merits as well. Definatelly worth looking into, and a hideable fix too!!!!
Personally, I don't think the B-28/Diana 350s's are really heavy,....just loooong. I'm not a large sized fellow either. If it were up to me, and with my particular shooting style, I would prefer the rubber butt-pad to be longer in the bottum providing more of a hook to catch under my front shoulder and bicept muscles. JMO, tjk

He saying the weight is too far forward for his liking. You could also try one of the velcro'd warp-around pads designed for shotguns with the shell-holder loops. About $8 at Dick's. You can get a couple of dime rolls at the bank, slip them into the loops and see if it helps before drilling, etc. Or simply wrap something around the stock with a bit of weight attached. The shotgun wrap does not fit most of my air guns. (I don't see how it would even fit my shotguns, come to think of it.)

Don't think you really can, without causing a real problem. Over time you'll get used to it, and won't even be aware of it.

You can get cheap, if not free, lead/antimony alloy wheel weights at any tire mounting/balancing shop. The old wheel weights they take off ususlly just get tossed in the trash.

Walmart also carries the shell holder sleeves. They're not east to get on, but they do fit. I have them on four of my shotguns and my .223.

Gerald, I hope you find the sweet spots to rest your 350 because it really is capable of bringing a smile to your face when you shoot it. You might try to go against the conventional wisdom and try resting the gun on a small shooting bag snug against the trigger guard with your off hand lightly supporting the forearm just in front of the bag.What have you got to lose?If you go afield and find it a chore to shoot off hand with this long tom 350, then try one of those "Moses sticks" or a conventional shooting stick.Good luck to you.

Hey guys I take very seriously my airguns. They must to have a very well cheek weld rest and now very well BALANCED.
So.... I asked for my RWS 350 MAGNUM . 22 solution for a better balance and I decided to do it.
I used fishing lead weights 14 pieces for a total of 31 onces. The rifle is very heavy now....BUT BUT... It is very stable and
it is easier to shot it than before, because is very well BALANCED!!!
