I just finished a new custom stock for my QB78 it's a thumb hole with a tyrolean cheek plate and it has been relived so you don't have to take the safty off to take the stock off the rifle just 1 screw for take down. Right now  it's in a danish oil finish I might change it to poly. later but Danish oil looks good too.   Walnut and Yellow heart wood.  Howie

Nicely done Howie. I'd stick with the oil finish. It looks good to me too.

Howie,

I think one of your best so far and that's saying a lot.  I am particularly fond of the forestock.  Awesome lines there.

Are you a lefty?  Noticed the safety.

the qb has the safety on the left side so I didn't change it but I mastly shoot righty but I can shoot anything lefty too I am lucky enough to be ambidextrous and have the ability to shift my master eye. Howie

I like your stocks..they are always something diffrent..
Not just a pretty version of the same old std stock design...
