Hi,
I am new to this forum and seeking advise on a problem.
I received my new B3-1 chinese rifle this week. After I tightened the stock screws and the trigger guard screw the cocking lever would not clamp back under the barrel.
When I shoot the rifle the lever hangs down and will not retrack into position below the barrel.
Is there a fix for this problem? Thanks

Hi Ray, welcome to GTA... very nice to have you with us.....
Are you saying the cocking lever handle will not snap into the metal clamp that is designed to hold it ???
Can you post any pics ????

Welcome to the GTA FAMILY Ray. :) If the cocking lever is not staying in the clamp there's a small screw that secures it to the barrel you just need to tighten it up some and it will close the clamp up. If the cocking arm itself isn't straight with the barrel when you clamp it you just need to bend it gently in the direction needed to square it up with the barrel and clamp, had to do this on several of my B's. :o :) Ed

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for the welcome. Sorry no pictures. When I raise the cocking lever into the retainer (clip) it springs back out.
The only way to make it stay in position is to loosen the stock screws. If I loosen to stock screws wouldn't that affect accuracy?

SUCCESS---------------I put a block of wood under the barrel and over the cocking lever and ever so gently bent the lever. Now it stays in place. Than ks for all your help.
