So this is for all the Cometa Fusion owners out there, I have been drooling looking at pictures of this rifle for about an hour now and I was wondering what everyone thinks?
I don't know the specs but if anyone has those I would greatly appreciate it. Hows the trigger, the weight, etc? Any info helps.
Also where did you folks purchase yours? I've found one place called Pamona Airguns in California but none others.
Thanks for the help.

I don't have the fusion model I have the fenix 400 compact deluxe same power plant and trigger just shorter BBl and different sound reduction system, these guns are awsome and a steal for the money extreamly accurate and exelent triggers my compact is a .22cal shooting around 750fps w/14.3 cphp's it's one of the best AG's I own its it the quality range of a RWS an HW rifle I know because I have them! I don't think you can go wrong with one its one of my favorite go to hunting rifles and I've taken alot of pegions with this gun a ranges of 60+yds with ease thier that accurate and easy to shoot well!

I had the Fusion but sold it to John. I have an RWS 94 which is exactly the same power plant and trigger as the fusion. If I ever get the time I am going to tune and fix up the RWS 94 with the barrel shroud and refinish the stock. Yes those guns are very nice shooters and my RWS 94 is a keeper...:) I bought it last year and it is used of course but in like new condition.

I love the look of the Fusion. I have two RWS94s (and a 93) plus their pistol. Cometa is a quality outfit.
I understand theyare planninga PCP in the near future. I will be interested in that when it comes out!

Thanks Snook. So what are the differences between the fenix 400 and the fusion?
-
The fusion has a fully shrouded BBl and the fenix doesn't the compact has a short baffle system about 8'' long on the BBl

That was an awesome review. That definitely just helped
me decide that this will be my next air rifle. Thanks for the
help. The only question
left is .177 or .22?
-
How do you plan to use the rifle? Target shoot or hunt or both, and what do you plan to hunt?

Mark is breaking it down pretty simply for most folks. If you target shoot mostly, and hunt small game, then .177. If you hunt mostly and game is bigger than "little creatures", then the .22. Simple eh?
.177 has a flatter trajectory and is arguably more accurate, but you're limited to pellets in the 10.6 grn range. The .22 is a bit slower, but with heavier, larger diameter pellets... harder hitting.

Well the largest animal if be shooting at Is a squirrel. But I'd be target shooting most of the time

Thank you Creeper!

Thank you... your questionwas the logical basis for my elaboration. I don't hunt anymore, but when I did, bigger was gooder... like using a .50BMG on Javalina at 800 yds. (http://../jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)

I kilt lots of squirrels with a .177 (and several with .20). However, when it is up to me, "bigger reallyis gooder".
5.5mm is my squirreling caliber of choice. Actually it's about all I buy anymore, except for pistols.
I sincerely hope my next PCP is a .25 Marauder... but I would like to see what Cometa introduces, as well. They had a .25 springer available in the Spanish market, I don't know about here, or what they plan for their PCP.
