Got my B-26 last night. Prehaps we can compare notes in the future.
-
It's on the way Mike. UPS says it's in Atlanta now. It should be delivered sometime tomorrow. I will give a review on my initial impressions when it arrives. I can't wait to get it after all the great reviews. snookman

Been shooting mine every chance I get. The trigger is nice out of the box.
-
What cal is that B-26 Bogey ... and how's it shooting???
-
UPS beat up the gun pretty bad. The barrel and stock ends of the foam in the shipping box were broken out and the gun was banging around with nothing but cardboard as padding. It shoots 1/2 in. groups at 7 yards in the house. I'm sending it back to Best Airguns tomorrow. What a bummer. snookman

yeah ups is notorious for that sorry about ur gun brother. :0

It's the first gun that I ever bought on the Internet. I am one of those people that like to hold it and check it out before I buy anything. I don't think I will buy another one online again. snookman

OUCH !!!! Sorry to hear that your B-26 arrived in such poor condition. Mine arrived in good condition....thankfully.
Like you I am leary of ordering AGs and having them shipped by UPS, FEDX or USPO. However to try something different in this back water, ordering and having it shipped in is your only choice. And finding a distant shop that carries AGs is risky too. I drove allmost 150 miles, oneway to a shop that said they had Beeman air rifles in stock. Even Spoke to them on the phone. Made the trip...quess what? no Beeman air rifles. And the AGs they had looked as if they had been dragged behind a pickup truck around the parking lot. Not happy. I called Beeman and said if these people are 5 star dealers should they not have Beemans in stock?? Shortly there after they lost the dealer status. And forget Bass Pro Shops, Very expensive.

sorry to hear that bro that mishap shouldt discourage you but ups they not to light on packages :0
-
Unfortunate no doubt, - but that doesn't equate to all internet sales having a problem. I've picked up four so far, and will undoubtedly get another "one or two" on-line. Give it another try, - you'll probably be pleased.
-
nothing to worry about.....got him covered,
-
Mike has a great reputation for taking care of his customers. No worries...

I can understand your frustration about what happened to your B26 during transit. But if Mike Melick has already replied here in the forum that he got you covered then I suggest you give it a 2nd go then. IMO a working B26 is worth the wait to own. I know because I am enjoying mine. Take the chance and email Mike on how to go around the situation, and good luck! I'm sure Mike can figure out another way to make your gun safe from the abuse of the UPS system.

I agree, Mike is a GREAT MAN, I have no problem with him. It is the shipping that I have a problem with. Blind Gorillas could handle packages better. snookman

I have 2x B26 AGs one in .22 (B26-2) and one .177 got both from Mike Melick and he has gone far out of his way in support to make sure I am having a good experience. Once you get a B26 and either break it in or take the time to tune it you will be extremely happy to have it. I also own a .22 cal RWS 34P with a JM spring and seal in it but almost never shoot it because the B26's are more accurate, easier to cock and seem to hit harder than the 34.
