: G1 Extreme pellets

Hi all..... my question is to the owners of the Crosman G1 Extreme.  What pellets have you found that shoot well from your gun? I have been shooting CROSMAN PREMIER hollowpoints with some mixed results ... just wondering.  Man, what a great site this place is !!!!!

Each airgun prefers different pellet's at times even the same brand of shooter. It's just a matter of trying different types of ammo to find what she likes to eat. I don't have the G1 Extreme but do have the TAC1 Extreme .22 and it loves the Beeman FTS and Predators. The FTS seem to work good in many shooters but as I mentioned you may have to sort through several types to find the right one. Ed

Both mine shoots 7.9 CPHP around mid 900fps and hits POA. I got this tuned and seal & spring replaced with lube tune and debur. The pivot plastic most causes the breech to move sideways to throw off your shoots.

Try some of the RWS pellets.   They shoot quite well in my G-1.   RWS Supermag and RWS Superdome do the best for me right now.  This is in .177.    Another pellet that I do pretty well with is the Crosman " Destroyer".     I get the poorest results with Crosman Wadcutters,  which you would think could give the best results.

Only problem with RWS is that I have to order them.   None locally available.

Started out trying the Gamo sampler...don't bother, the Crosman CPHP were pretty consistent but the Gamo Pro Magnum have really proven to be her favorite. Got really lucky and scored a bunch when Cabelas closed them out.

My G1 likes Crosman Destroyer, Pointed and Hollow point, Daisy HP, Gamo Magnum. The only pellet I've tried that performed poorly was the Beeman coated HP. The daisy's are the cheapest. I buy them at Farm and Fleet, 500 for $4.50  Happy shooting.
