I noticed over at Talonairgun.com that some people complained that their .22 Marauders would not group JSB pellets well @ 50 yards.. I posted back that Crosman barrels usually don't like these pellets, and I said to use CP pellets instead.
But everyone raged over there.. so today I decided to do a little pellet test @ 50 yards.
Here is what I got..

Thanks, I have 3 tins left still.. working on depleting my 1st one. I have the single shot tray as well.. I have not used the magazine since I got it.. no more jams etc.. I can shoot a big Eun Jin pellet when ever!

Hi Matt; I have 5 MDR clips no trouble yet, If You don't pull bolt all the way back it won't cock the hammer. cock it again and You double load it and shoots 2 pellets 3" low at 25yds. I did it in a match once got a big zero on 2 targets missed one and hit wrong target

Last weekend I had a 2 hour opportunity to really sit down with almost my 8 month old Mrod and shoot some groups. My pellet selection was somewhat similar to Matt's and I found few interesting things about my Mrod. BTW I opened up the breech side a bit and polished it, as I noticed some difficulties loading different pellets.
1. My rifle likes Premieres best - 1/2" group CTC at 40yds, could be covered by a dime. Mind you I am not the best shot.
2. CPHP's were close second with few inches of POI drop.
3. 15.8 JSB's did very well too - 5/8" @ 40 yds CTC, BUT I had to allow at least 3 flyer shots after switching from CP's or other pellets for the barrel to lead properly! I mean first shot after the switch went about 8-10 inches to the left and missed the trap completely! After few shots the POI was the same as CP's, all without a single scope adjustment.
4. 14.3 and 18 grain JSB's resulted in shotgun pattern, no matter how many shots I took. Gamo Hunters and RWS Superdomes did no better.
Beeman FTS showed so-so groups (1" @ 40yds for all 10 shots)
5. Turns out my rifle is not so sensitive to overfill above 2600 psi, I filled it to almost 3000 psi, but is VERY sensitive to pressure drop below 1900 psi, where it doesn't just lower the POI, but sprays pellets all over the target. This was done with factory settings, which tells me that it would definately benefit from tune and some adjusting.
I am on a quest to find a good pellet/settings to give repectable groups at 60yds+

Groups look real good. How does your Mrod compare to the Condor? Why did you get rid of it?
I know you Condor produced similiar groups.
Reason I ask, I'm thinking about an Mrod too.....LOL

That`s some very fine groups out to 50 yards.

They performed about the same out to 60 yards which is my max range without wondering off into the woods clearing out more "trees" ;p
The condor needs alot of tuning to make it "perfect" tuning it, getting a shroud etc.. was making the price go up to over 1k..
I sold it to get funds for an Air Arms rifle which shoots pretty much perfect out of the box. No tuning required. Which is a plus for me.. I'm getting the Air Arms S400 (the single shot version of the S410).
The Marauder was my first PCP ever mind you.. it's my go to rifle!
Now to test out my Katana... ;p
