Thought it over for awhile and went for it hehe. I started on it this morning and got the background finished up so it's dry time for it. I wanted to stay with tans, browns but will throw in some green here and there with some pine needles and leaves in transition from green to tans and brown. There will be some tree bark effect here and there also now just got let the background dry and start placing some foliage etc. on it. Ed

bro,...youre killin me ! i keep seeing all thse fantastic stocks,...........and me with no money to spare !!
-
What stock ? All I see is a tree ;-) ( nice work Ed!)

Well I buckled down and finished it up.:) You got to be careful when pushing the dry time and layering the foliage but I ever so gently did it up and all is left is to shoot the 4 coat's of MATTE clear and let it fully cure. This one will be ready to hunt in a week and I hope the critters hate it cause it got em lol. Ed

Ed,
Another impressive rifle. What is your day job? Do you do airbrushing for living? I don't have an artistic bone in my body. Too left brained!
Why didn't you get on down to the Precision Gun shoot last month? Or were you there? There was quite an impressive turnout.
You live in Flint IIRC right? Stanis' place is probably closer to you than me. BBgunbob and I carpooled the 90 minutes or so out to Dryden. Maybe next time? I'd like to meet you someday!

Thanks Andy and you know how it is to find work around this town.:( I don't airbrush for a living but do camo work for the family here and others to keep some $$$ rolling in. :) I was planing to hit the shoot but ended up hunting and I couldn't pass that up hehe.:) Ed
